Do You Want to Be Healed?
John 5:1-18
Obviously the answer to the question above is a resounding YES!…right???? Jesus approached a man who had been crippled for 38 years and the response He got was more complicated than we would expect. All of us walk around with OBVIOUS moral and spiritual defects (obvious to others anyways…most people are just to “nice” to tell you about yours!) but when Jesus asks us if we want healing in our lives, our answer often mirrors the man at the pool of Bethesda.
