Who’s your Daddy?
John 8:39-47
Well, now that the holiday’s are over, we’re back into the gospel of John! In this weeks text, Jesus and the Pharisees are in the middle of a very intense verbal exchange concerning their spiritual condition. Jesus reveals the fact that the Pharisees, despite their spiritual heritage and claim to follow their ancient father Abraham, are actually following their true spiritual father Satan. And like the Pharisees of old, there are untold numbers of people in our world today that are trusting in their religious heritage or church attendance rather than the person of Jesus for their salvation. What are you trusting in today? Who’s your daddy? Should be a great time in the Word this week!
