Mike Bailey’s Testimony

Since I can remember, I’ve gone to church. Thanks to the movie “10 Commandments” that stirred my heart. At the age of 13 I was baptized. However, there was a dark period in my life from the age of 15 – 25 where I forgot about the Lord. Then when I hit rock bottom, the Lord placed a book in my life, “From Prison to Praise.” Then I realized I needed God and to be thankful in all things.

Most notable experience – When I was down God placed the book “From Prison to Praise” in my life. I started going back to church. Then some 10 years later when hard times and pressure came, while reaching for a phone book at a pay phone, I reached in and pulled out “From Prison to Praise.” I had a flashback that stirred my heart and I haven’t looked back since.

God has worked on me for as long as I can remember, at times me not knowing. But I can look back and see the events that had to take place to get me to where I am today, and God’s hand had to be in it.
