Justin Keller’s Testimony

I thought I had “said the right words” when I was really young, but I didn’t fully understand salvation. I regularly attended church and was growing up in a God-loving home.

I was at a church service in Indianola. Pastor Mike Carlson mentioned that you could be 100% sure that we were going to heaven. I knew that I wasn’t 100% sure.

After the above church service, I went home and told my dad that I needed to be saved. We went to his bedroom and he showed me verses from the Roman’s Road. I remember specifically talking about salvation being a gift from God. I prayed and asked God to forgive me of my sins and to be my Savior. I remember being instantly excited about finally knowing for sure I was going to heaven and I went downstairs and told my brother Joe.

I have had a walk with God that has been spotted with struggles and difficulties. Through them I have learned more about my weakness and God’s strength. I love sharing Christ with others through words and especially music.
