Holly Funkhouser’s Testimony
I grew up in a Christian home. I went to church every Wednesday and Sunday with my family.
One Sunday night my pastor’s message was about Heaven and Hell. When I got home that night from church I kept thinking that I didn’t want to end up in Hell.
That night I went to my dad and told him I wanted to be saved. We sat down and opened the Bible and my dad took me to the verses John 3:16 and Romans 6:23 and had me read them. My dad explained those verses to me and what Christ did on the cross for me. That night I knew that I was a sinner and confessed my sin and asked Christ to be my Savior.
Since I’ve been saved, God has given me the desire to have a godly life by reading His Word and spending time in prayer. God has taught me to put my trust in Him and He will take care of me. Proverbs 3:5-6
