Cole Albright

Cole Albright’s Testimony

I grew up in a Christian home, heard the gospel at church and home. I can’t remember much prior to salvation.

I had heard the gospel and how I was a sinner before God. I didn’t want to be separated from God. I wanted to know my sins were forgiven. I started asking my folks questions about how to be saved. I knelt by my parents’ bed on December 30, 1990. I was 5 years old, and Christ saved me.

At first, being saved didn’t mean a lot because living the Christian life seemed to be just for adults. When I was ten, my dad asked me if I had ever thought about baptism. So I started talking with him and after he explained it to me, I knew that I wasn’t living for God and needed to start seeking God personally (I couldn’t wait till I was “grown up”). I was baptized and started sharing my faith with my unsaved friends. One actually got saved! Verses that I cling to are: Romans 10:9-10 and John 3:16.

I know God has changed me since salvation. I was on a path to destruction, but God has transformed me. I have learned to serve Him and walk with Him since I was a child. I have a desire to see others saved and discipled. I hope to be in the ministry some day.
